The Japanese concert march genre is a very popular genre in wind band music played all around the world, and they come in many different forms, each unique in it's own way. However they still exhibit similar cliches and in March "Right Foot First", I compile the cliches to write a similar style march, however with twisted armonies and rhythms, so that the music always feels like there is something not quite right. This results in a tongue-in-cheek march that toys with human hearing expectations, with many surprises sprinkled everywhere all the way till the very end, and a fun experience for performers and audience alike.
