Birds is a set of three short songs for solo tenor and piano. The text used are traditional nursery rhymes related to birds - Bird Thoughts, I Had a Little Hen, Little Robin Redbreast. These songs are light and easy to listen to, and are also suited for children's concerts.
Birds was premiered by tenor Leslie Tay and pianist Pauline Lee in the Esplanade Recital Studio, Singapore.
